Direct Lines to the Studio
Every collaboration begins with a clear conversation. We've structured our contact channels to match the intent of your inquiry, ensuring the right studio member receives your message without delay.
Preferred First Step
For project proposals, use hello@trackeno.space. This is our primary intake, monitored daily by the studio leads.
hello@trackeno.spaceThe Bologna Base: Studio Coordinates
Our studio resides in the heart of Bologna's historic district, a city whose layered history—from Roman foundations to medieval porticoes—informs our approach to layered, robust game design. The space is a converted workshop with north-facing light, purpose-built for deep focus and collaborative creation.
While we operate largely digitally, the physical address serves as our anchor. It's where we prototype, playtest, and gather for final playthroughs. Visitors are welcome by appointment, scheduled to respect the rhythm of our development sprints.
Collaboration Frameworks & Pitfalls
Trade-off: Velocity vs. Polish
- → We trade rapid iteration for deep polish. Our process prioritizes establishing a rock-solid core mechanic before layering on features, which extends early timelines but reduces late-stage rework.
- → Cost: Additional pre-production weeks. Mitigation: Rigorous milestone tracking and a shared vision document that evolves with the project.
Decision Lens
Is your budget fixed with an immutable launch date? If so, our model may create tension. We are best suited for partnerships where quality is the primary success metric and the timeline can accommodate iterative refinement.
Micro-Scenario: The Vision Document
A successful engagement begins with a Shared Vision Document (1-2 pages). It outlines the emotional core, key player fantasies, and primary pillars of the experience. This document, not a feature list, becomes our north star, ensuring our "why" aligns with yours before we build a single pixel.
Constraints & Boundaries
Indie games with strong narrative or innovative mechanics. Budgets aligned with a minimum 6-month scope.
Scope creep without budget adjustment. We enforce clear milestone gates to protect the project's creative and financial health.
A negative user test on a core flow, or a shift in the client's business strategy that fundamentally alters the game's target audience.
We prefer async updates via shared docs (Notion, Figma). Scheduled syncs are reserved for milestone reviews and key decisions.

Initiating a Dialogue: The First Step
Identify Your Core Idea
Focus on the player fantasy. What feeling, moment, or challenge defines your game? We don't need a GDD yet, but a sharp, one-page concept is invaluable.
Align on Practicalities
Be upfront about budget range and desired timeline. This isn't a test; it helps us assess feasibility and propose a realistic starting point.
Respect Confidentiality
If your IP is sensitive, we are happy to sign a mutual NDA before reviewing any detailed materials. Simply note this in your initial message.
